If you are experiencing (setup) problems with your Jooki, then it's possible it has an old firmware.
You can see the firmware version of your Jooki in the 'Device Info' page of the Jooki app.
If you cannot use the app, you can ask Jooki to read out information about itself:
Turn Jooki off and on again
- Turn up the volume
- Press the Previous, Next, Volume- and Volume+ buttons at the same time.
- Write down the information spoken by Jooki
For instance: “Jooki: 0306 - Firmware: 3.8.6 - IP address: 192.168.1.79”
If you do not hear a message then your Jooki has an old firmware installed.
Press the 4 buttons at the same time:
- Previous
- Next
- Volume-
- Volume+
The current firmware version is 3.9.94- as of May 2020.
If your firmware version is 3.9.94, then you’re all set!
If you have an older firmware then you may experience (wifi) problems.
